littlegardenplot asked: Feminism was created for women, and a lot of feminists believe its unfair of men to force their way into a space created for women. I'm a feminist and I personally prefer men to call themselves feminist allies rather than feminists.

Certainly! Although, for a majority of men who claim to be feminists, I think it’s a genuine recognition of inequality and simple support. I understand the importance of the differentiation though.

yourdeadbeatgirlfriend asked: A lot of female feminists claim that men cannot be feminists because they can't truly empathize with the struggles that women go through, while they may support the ideas that pretty much make up feminism they can't have the label of "feminist."

Word! Thanks for the answer, makes sense. Although I feel as if a lot of people, male and female, don’t really know that that is how others see feminisms (judging by people I know and all the people writing in my inbox replying to my post)

i have a question regarding feminism. I’m not trying offend anyone, I just would like to understand this because i see it a lot and I don’t quite get it

I see a lot of posts on tumblr where men claim to be a feminist and then women tell them they cannot be feminist. I don’t really get why they can’t. Could someone explain to me why that is?

Tumblr is anti-bully but pro making fun of people who are socially awkward and have involuntarily become internet sensations. Gross.
